Motorola Moto X40 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 could be announced by the end of this year

In December 2021, Motorola announced the Moto X30 in China (Moto Edge 30 Pro internationally). Now, the company owned by Lenovo is going to introduce the new generation Moto X40. The phone was recently spotted at 3C in China and now a popular tipster has shared the key specs of the phone.

Tipster Digital Chat Station says the Moto X40 will feature an FHD+ display and an as-yet-unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. In addition, it has been reported that it will have a 50MP main camera.

The tipster says the Moto X40 will be priced low and will be the cheapest phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

3C lists the Moto X40’s model number as XT2301-5. According to data from 3C, the Moto X40 will come with 68W fast charging, and like last year, the X40 can be sold internationally under the name Moto Edge 40 Pro.

Motorola is still tight-lipped about the Moto X40. Therefore, the above information cannot be said to be 100% correct. More information about the Motorola Moto X40 may be leaked in the coming days.
