In a report from IT Home, it is stated that Huawei and Huawei Company are planning to start a new electric car brand, and Huawei will be responsible for market distribution. The new EV brand vehicles will be exclusively distributed and sold at Huawei’s old product showrooms.

BAIC, one of China’s sixth largest automakers, will manufacture the vehicles, while Huawei will provide technical support on the company’s Huawei DriveONE platform. As the vehicle platform, it will use a platform called Jihu, and this technology is also used in Wenje and Jihu vehicles.

The Huawei Inside the platform, which is already used in some vehicle brands in the Chinese automobile market, may also be used. Huawei’s HarmonyOS smartphone supports Huawei Inside, which can connect smart cars and smart homes. Huawei will not manufacture its own vehicles but will provide technical support for smart electric vehicles.

Smart electric cars using the latest Huawei technology have also arrived in the market. The Avatr 11 electric car, which uses Huawei technology and costs 349,900 yuan, was introduced this year.
